Scientific interests, developments:

Development using colloid-chemical methods of new approaches to synthesis:

nanostructured oxide film systems with Ag, Au and Ag-Au nanoparticles activated by europium ions;
new compositions of luminescent materials based on compounds with a garnet structure for use as luminescent transformers in lighting sources;
polycrystalline highly dispersed yttrium aluminum borate powders with a huntite structure, promising as a host matrix for rare earth ions as an activator; study of their structural features and spectral-luminescent properties in order to establish a relationship in the series “synthesis - structure - property”.


Development of methods for the formation of monodisperse nano- and micro-sized spherical particles as template cores for the formation of core-shell structures.
