1975–1976 – senior researcher of the sector of radiation-chemical technology at chemical faculty Belarusian State University;
1976–1987–head of the sector of research scientific laboratory «Thermodynamics of petrochemicalprocesses» Belarusian State University;
1989–1991 – researcher of the laboratory of high-temperature reactions Research Institute for Physical Chemical Problems of the Belarusian State University;
1991-2005 – senior research of the laboratory of thermodynamics for organic compounds Research Institute for Physical Chemical Problems of the Belarusian State University;
2005 to the present –head of the laboratory of fuels, oilsand feeds Research Institute for Physical Chemical Problems of the Belarusian State University

Current research activity:

- physical and chemical substantiation of technologies for obtaining liquid and solid fuels;
- methods for predicting of fuels properties;
- methods for performing analysis of the quality control of fuels, oils and fodder;
- exergetic analysis of biofuel production.
