Technology for the Synthesis of New Polyols from Secondary and Natural Raw Materials for the Production of Polyurethane Materials.

Purpose: polyols are one of the two main components in the manufacturing technology of polyurethane materials (foam, self-leveling floors).

Technical characteristics of polyols:
- viscosity 2400 cP;
- hydroxyl number 256 mg KOH/g.

Advantages of the technology for producing polyols from PET:

- resource saving;
- improving the environment by processing secondary polymers with a long decomposition period;
- the cost of polyols is 15-20% lower in comparison with technologies without the use of recycled materials
- the cost of polyurethane foam based on PET polyols is 5-10% lower.
