Current research activity

  • Chemistry of bioactive coordination compounds, in particular synthesis and investigation of pharmacological properties of bioactive phenolic derivatives and their metal complexes promising for development of novel drugs.
  • A manager of scientific projects concerning the development of synthetic methods and physicochemical characterization of bioactive compounds (in particular, the project ISTC “Development of new effective pharmaceuticals for combined chemotherapy of infections”).

Main achievements

  • The supervisor of 3 postgraduates working on their PhD thesises. The author of more than 200 publications including 18 patents, 8 monographs (7 monographs co-authored) and 5 manuals.
