1978 – 1986  – Junior researcher of laboratory of cellulose solutions and products of their treatment;
1986 – 1988  – Researcher of the laboratory of solutions of cellulose and products of their treatment;
1988 – 2007 – Senior researcher of the laboratory of cellulose solutions and products of their treatment;
2007 – now    Leading researcher of the laboratory of cellulose solutions and products of their treatment. 

Current research activity

  • development of non-sulfur-carbon methods for obtaining hydrated cellulose and structurally mixed with other polymers fibers and films;
  • homogeneous synthesis of cellulose derivatives;
  • studies of the liquid crystalline state of cellulose and its derivatives in solution;
  • problems of purification of natural surface and waste waters;
  • the use of cellulose derivatives to obtain highly dispersed solid and soft dosage forms;
  • obtaining and areas of use of mesoporous activated carbons.

Main achievements 

Compositions of new quickly-disintegrated carbon enterosorbent tablets; highly effective hydrophilic ointment compositions of medicinal substances; mobile water purification plant, lignin adsorbent “Lignosorb”;  tests' production of the veterinary enterosorbent “Belvetsorb”. Three developments "Mobile  autonomous water purification plant “MAVOU", "New without carbon disulfide technology for obtaining hydrocellulose fibers" and "Sorbent "Lignosorb" for the liquidation of oil spills and oil products and utilization of used industrial oils" were rewarded with gold medals of the competition "BEST INNOVATION PROJECT AND BEST SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE YEAR ", St. Petersburg, in 2007, 2012 and 2016.
