Current research activity:
Synthesis of functional polymers based on styrene and isobutylene, and they block-copolymers. Ring-opening polymerization of cyclic esters (such as lactide and caprolactone) in the presence of macroinitiators and organocatalysts. Precise synthesis of macromolecular architectures. Quantum chemical calculations for the prediction of the polymerization mechanism.
