(i) main field electrochemistry and photoelectrochemistry of semiconductors and metals; synthesis of nanostructured semiconductor films
(ii) other fields corrosion diagnostics; corrosion protective coatings; electrochemical sensors; electroluminescence of semiconductor electrodes
 
Current research activities:
  • synthesis and investigation of nanostructured TiO2/hydroxyapatite coatings for biological applications;
  • development of ultrablack coatings for optical devices;
  • development of sensing and corrosion preventive materials based on controlled release of active species encapsulated in polymeric or inorganic micro- and nanocapsules.
