Current research activity

Polymer design and synthesis including controlled cationic polymerization, ring-opening anionic polymerization and metallocene catalysis; cationic polymerization in aqueous media; polymerization kinetics and mechanisms.

Main achievements

  • 2006-2007: NATO scientific and technical grant for exchange between east European countries and France.
  • 2007-2008: INTAS fellowship grant for young scientists (France).
  • 2010 and 2021 – Winner of the competition for the best leader and organizer of scientific research work of students and postgraduates of BSU in the nomination “Individual leadership of scientific research work of students”.
  • 2014 – invited lectures at the Faculty of Chemical Technology, Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuania.
  • 2016 – invited lectures at Zhejiang Shuren University, Hangzhou, China.
  • 2019 – invited Professor at Shandong University, Jinan, China.
  • Editorial Board Member of Polymers (MDPI), Macromol (MDPI) and J. Macromol. Sci. Part A; Pure Appl. Chem (Taylor & Francis).
  • Under his supervision 4 PhD (in polymer chemistry) and more than 10 Masters defended.
